Repeat these 4 rows until piece measures approximately
14 inches from cast on edge. (If knitting a scarf, it may
be worn unblocked at this width, or you may prefer to
knit it skinnier!) Bind off. Weave in ends and block
lightly to shape.

Materials

1 skein Robin Turner Gourmet Fibers Peruvian
Alpaca OR 1 skein Henry's Attic Peruvian
Tweed [100% Alpaca, 600 yards per 8.01 oz
skein]; Color: Natural
With right side facing and using smaller needles, pick
up and knit 72 sts across short edge. If using DPNs, join
to work in round.

US #8/5 mm straight or circular needle

US #5/3.75 mm straight double-pointed needles
Row 1: *K2tog (twice), p2tog (twice); rep from *
around – 36 sts.
Gauge
12 sts = 4 inches in pattern
(row gauge is not important)
Work k2, p2 rib for 2 inches. Bind off loosely.
With 6 inch strands of yarn, tie sleeves together 8
inches above cuffs. Weave in all ends.
Pattern
With larger needles, cast on 145 sts.
